I think this contract shows how serious I am when it comes to term limits and the removal of career politicians. It may be short, but it's to the point. Term limits have been promised before and that promise has been broken. Some politicians believe that since they got out for a while and came back later, they were honoring their pledge. Term limits are limits plain and simple.
Contract with South Carolina US Congressional District 4
I Richard (Rick) Mahler hereby affirm that I will not seek more than two terms as your Congressman to the South Carolina 4th US Congressional district. If at any time I elect to pursue a third term, I will be liable to pay the citizens of the 4th Congressional district ALL monies earned by me during my tenure as your Congressman. This includes any income that results from personal business as well. This pledge is to show my dedication to my district and my country. I hold myself to the two term limit because I truly believe that corruption in Congress cannot be corrected until the career politicians are removed. We need representatives that focus on what's right. Not what's right for them.

Apologize to no one.
Remind those of our sacrifice and don't confuse arrogance with leadership.
If I added correctly the count is 104,366 dead.
And we have to watch an American elected leader who apologizes to Europe and the Middle East that our country is "arrogant"!
HOW MANY FRENCH, DUTCH, ITALIANS, BELGIANS AND BRITS ARE BURIED ON OUR SOIL, DEFENDING US AGAINST OUR ENEMIES?
WE DON'T ASK FOR PRAISE ... BUT WE HAVE ABSOLUTELY NO NEED TO APOLOGIZE!!
I hope we will all remember this when election time comes around again.
