  How many phone calls did you get just before the election from people wanting your vote? 
     How many have you received over the last two years wanting your opinion? 
               EASY ANSWERS #1 MANY      #2 NOT ONE EVER!!!!!

    Why do you think that is? I know why.....They do not care what you think. Never did. Never will. How many promises have been broken? Can anyone count that high? 

 


    Help me help US.  Tired of the same old?  Tired of politicians telling you about how they are going to change Washington?  How long have they been there?  I am not a politician!  Never have been.  The only time I spent in Washington was seeing the sights.  It is time to stand up and do it, instead of talking about doing it.   Everyday I go to work and listen to everyone talk about how the country is falling apart.  We can fix it, we can start here in South Carolina.  So, when I say help me help US, I really mean US.  I am not an attorney or doctor.  I have a normal home.  I have a normal job.  I am YOU! 
                     I will make sure that our voice is heard in Washington!!

It seems that our Congressman is suddenly concerned with what you think. Why do you suppose that is? The election is just 11 1/2 months away, that's why! I attended one of his "let's talk" sessions. His focus for the meeting was to tell us how conservative he is and to give us a sheet of paper itemizing his conservatism. Tell me whatever you want Bob. It's not only about less spending in Washington. It's really about doing what the people want, no matter what YOU think. A Congressman IS employed by the people, NOT the government.
 
11-28-09    Jim Demint is pushing term limit legislation. Way to go Jim!!!  The only way we can ensure proper representation is to eliminate career politicians.
 
12-22-09  US Senate full of bribery and trickery. To secure a key vote we as a nation are now paying hundreds of millions to pay for Nebraska's Medicaid program. If national healthcare is being pushed to cover those uninsured, why are we paying for Nebraska's Medicaid? 2000 pages and 60 votes for something that not one Senator that is voting for it has read. Seems like a bad movie, doesn't it?
 
12-24-09  President Obama signs executive order allowing Fannie May and Freddie Mac to borrow as much as they want.  I guess he forgot that these 2 government agencies were at the root of the mortgage collapse.
DOLLARS & SENSE
 
The fact that over $500,000.00 was spent to win this district seat for 2008 is just nuts. The Democratic opponent spent $79,000.00 and received 37% of the vote. Why would it be necessary to spend so much if people were happy? It just doesn't make sense!
 
For the 2010 election the fundraising for Bob Inglis and Trey Gowdy alone has already reached approximately $500,000 as of November 2009, 1 year before the election. This does not include David Thomas, Jim Lee, or Christina Jeffrey. All this does is prove that the power brokers of the district want these guys in. Why? What benefit do they get? I'll let you answer that for yourself.
 
 
Job Creation
 
Simple!! You can do it!! What we buy day to day determines the jobs that we create or destroy. A good example is the Textile industry. When we buy clothes made in Honduras how does that keep the mills here open? When we buy auto parts made in Taiwan, guess what. Your car, where was it made? It's not about make or model. BMW, Toyota, Hyundai, Mercedes, they have all invested heavily in our country, manufacture here and create jobs. Good jobs.

In the last 30 years, we as a nation have transitioned from looking at the quality and where it's made to how cheap it is. As a result manufacturing and all it's associated industries have been slowly disappearing. Nowhere is that more evident than in the Upstate.  Just yesterday another textile mill announced that it will close. We can stop this. We must stop this!!
 
Look at the labels when you buy. Lets show America that we are the smartest people in the country. We can create jobs ourselves. Buy American, Buy Local!!! God Bless the USA!!!

        US Economy


All we hear day after day is that we face the worst economic situation since the great depression. Does anyone remember the 70's? I do and I was 5 when Carter was elected. Things got so bad that when I was 9 my father closed his service station.
 
Double digit interest rates, double digit unemployment.  The only thing that I can figure is that they are so obsessed with bashing Bush that they know if Carter is mentioned that America will be reminded of what the liberals can do for us. It took a conservative to clean up the mess they created. A true conservative....Ronald Reagan.
 
We need true conservatives in Washington. Not the wolves in sheeps clothing that got us here.
 
The simple fact is, we are nowhere near the financial problems of the great depression. We just have too many TV channels lying to us.
 
Lets fix it ourselves, Congress has proven that if depend on them we will be let down time and time again. Start by buying American made goods. Do you know why the Chinese economy grows so much faster than ours? We pay for it!! We need trade balance, but right now we need to stop our downward spiral. Throwing tax dollars at banks won't fix this!! How we spend will.  If we buy American it may cost a few pennies more right now, but if you don't, you may not have those pennies later. Too many jobs have been lost in the upstate and in the USA! Does China pay to feed your family?  
 
Don't just blindly listen to me. Check the facts for yourself. Google is your best friend when it comes to information. It takes mere seconds to fact check.
